Loving kindness, Compassion, Joy and Equanimity are the Four Heart Practices of mindfulness. Come join Kathryn this fall to cultivate a deeper connection to these qualities.
We will meet in person in Wickenden hall. We will meet on five consecutive Wednesday mornings from 1030 AM- Noon staring September 28 through October 26.
The first week will be of review of the nature of Mindfulness and tips on maintaining a regular practice. Each subsequent week we will focus on one of the Four Heart Qualities called by Buddhists the “Brahma Viharas” or Heavenly Abodes. We begin our mindful journey with lovingkindness and deepen our practice to include compassion, joy, and equanimity.
Each class will include teaching (Dharma talk), meditation practice, group sharing, and time for Q&A.
