In the wake of the discovery of 215 children’s bodies buried on the grounds of the Kamloops residential school, we will be engaging in looking at the truth of the residential school system. On Friday, June 25, at 7 pm we will be showing the documentary, Muffins for Granny, which deals with this shameful Canadian policy. On Sunday, July 4, Canada Day, Indigenous Elder Barb Barnes will help us see Canada through Indigenous eyes, by reflecting on the experiences of the women in the film.
